Forschung der Physiotherapie Ergotherapie

Unsere Forschung konzentriert sich auf (Früh-) Rehabilitation, therapeutisches Bewegungstraining und angewandter Bewegungswissenschaft (Kinesiologie) bei Patienten und Patientinnen mit akuter und chronischer Erkrankung (z. B. auf Tabletcomputer basierenden Trainingsprogrammen, sowie Trainingsprogrammen mit technischen (Gaming-) Anwendungen). Des Weiteren prüfen wir die Eigenschaften von Messinstrumenten in methodologischen Studien.

Das Forschungszentrum Physiotherapie Ergotherapie ist in der Direktion für Forschung und Lehre (Direktorin Prof. Dr. Gabriela Senti) eingebunden.

Es besteht eine enge Zusammenarbeit mit Prof. Dr. Eling D. de Bruin (Karolinska Institut, Abteilung für Neurobiologie, Institut für Physiotherapie und ETH Zürich, D-HEST, Institut für Bewegungswissenschaften und Sport), sowie mit Prof. Dr. Rob A. de Bie (Universität Maastricht, Abteilung für Epidemiologie, Maastricht NL).
