Career
Specialist in internal medicine FMH with special training in hypertension and PhD in cardiovascular research at the University of Pisa. Head of the consultation hours for hypertension, dyslipidemia in cardiology and the tobacco cessation consultation hours at the USZ. Habilitated in 2012 and Titular Professor at the University of Zurich Medical Faculty since September 2019.

- Nucleus Member and President (2024-2026) of the Hypertension Council of the European Society of Cardiology.
- Board of Trustees Members and Chairwoman of the Education, Prevention and Patients Commission of the Swiss Heart Foundation
Research focus
- Vascular research (endothelial function in the micro- and macrocirculation, vascular compliance and atherosclerotic changes in the carotid artery)
- Evaluation of the activity of the sympathetic nervous system
