Professor Petrowsky took over as head of the surgical team at the Swiss HPB Center Zurich in January 2013. He is an internationally renowned surgeon who began his training at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City and subsequently received his specialization in HPB surgery and liver transplantation at the Swiss HPB Center. He then became a consultant at one of the largest liver transplant centers in the world, the University of California Los Angeles in the USA. In addition to managing the HBP team, he also supports the liver transplant team.
