Career
Specialist in cardiology with a focus on rhythmology. Studied human medicine at the University of Essen, Université Paris-Sud and University Hospital Zurich (USZ). Dissertation at the Mayo Clinic Rochester, Minnesota. Training in invasive electrophysiology/cardiac devices at the USZ and at the Asklepios Klinik St. Georg Hamburg with Prof. Karl-Heinz Kuck as part of a scholarship from the European Heart Rhythm Association. Attending Physician in cardiology at the USZ since 2016. 2018 Habilitation at the Medical Faculty of the University of Zurich. He has a special interest in arrhythmogenic cardiomyopathies, ion channel diseases and stereotactic irradiation and ablation of ventricular tachycardia.
