Fathers are entitled to two weeks’ paid paternity leave at 100% pay and can extend this leave without pay for up to two months within one year of the birth. If operationally possible, longer unpaid leave can also be agreed for mothers or fathers. Employees who adopt a child receive 16 weeks’ paid leave at full pay. This can be drawn within the first year of the child’s admission.
Part-time models are a major need for our employees. Almost half of our workforce works part-time. We also support job-sharing and co-management models. This allows areas of responsibility to be sensibly separated. The professional and social skills of our employees also complement each other perfectly in management positions.
All employees are entitled to 1 week’s unpaid leave on request. Special provisions apply to mothers and fathers (see maternity and paternity leave).
