The Polytrauma Course, an interdisciplinary training programme, equips healthcare professionals managing critically injured patients. It covers all phases of polytrauma care, from initial assessment to post-operative recovery and rehabilitation.
This course takes place as a pre-course just before the 24th European Congress of Trauma and Emergency Surgery (ECTES).

If you want to expand your knowledge, then book the second day to earn the 12 Education points.

Participants learn advanced techniques for stabilizing polytrauma patients in emergency settings, including airway management, shock control, and life-saving interventions.

Beyond trauma management, the course delves into intensive care management, focusing on pain control, organ support, and long-term rehabilitation strategies. It emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration, showcasing how surgeons, anesthetists, intensivists, rehabilitation specialists, and others work together for optimal care.

Interactive discussions using real-world case studies enhance participants’ decision-making and problem-solving skills. By participating, attendees gain a deeper understanding of polytrauma management, enhance their clinical skills, and join a network dedicated to advancing trauma care.

This course is divided into two days. You can sign up for Friday, April 11th and Saturday, April 12th separately or for both days.
