In this method, the ejaculate is prepared in such a way that the seminal fluid preventing fertilization, immobile sperm and germs are removed from the ejaculate.
On this basis, we can decide whether the sperm are suitable for fertilization of the egg through timed intercourse or intrauterine insemination (IUI), or whether intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) makes sense. The vital sperm capable of fertilization obtained from a trial preparation are also used for intrauterine insemination (IUI).
