The stay in our department usually lasts a few days to a few weeks. We cannot offer long-term care like in a hospice or nursing home. Some of the patients are able to return home. If this is not possible, we will look for a long-term care institution together. Some of the patients also die on our ward.
Our ward has spacious single rooms, some with WC and shower. They are painted in color and can be personalized by patients with pictures and objects. All rooms are equipped with telephone, TV, radio and WLAN.
Two lounge areas and a meeting room offer the opportunity for meetings and personal discussions. In consultation with the team, relatives and friends have access at all times and can also stay overnight in the room.
