Novel therapies (biologics) for chronic sinusitis

One of our strengths is the use of the latest forms of therapy, for which an interdisciplinary consultation has been set up. This also includes the use of targeted drug therapies for chronic sinusitis, especially the form with polyps.

Modern and expensive antibody therapies are used for severe forms. In our combined immunology consultations, we care for patients who do not achieve sufficient disease control with standard treatments. We evaluate on an individual basis whether such therapeutic approaches make sense and discuss the costs with the health insurance companies.
