Experimental and Translational Research in Audiology

Overview

The research group “Experimental and Translational Research in Audiology” investigates the properties of hearing, the functioning of hearing implants and works on improving treatment options for patients with profound hearing loss or deafness. Both basic and application-oriented research approaches are pursued. The focus of research activities is on the clinical and experimental investigation and further development of audiological diagnostics and therapy. The research group consists of an interdisciplinary team from the fields of medicine, engineering, natural sciences and audiology.
