The Nuclear Medicine Clinic focuses on imaging, functional examinations of patients using radioactive substances. Using scintigraphy, SPECT and PET, we can visualize biochemical processes in the body and, thanks to the combination with cross-sectional imaging techniques such as CT and MRI, localize them anatomically in the body. These so-called hybrid imaging procedures were developed by us and were the first to be used clinically worldwide in cancer and cardiac diagnostics. In addition to the diagnosis of all organs, we also carry out therapies (diagnostics), often for thyroid diseases, but increasingly also for other cancers.
