Treatment methods
These examinations are carried out in our dysplasia consultation. Discussing and offering various treatment options for the above-mentioned pathologies, follow-up care after a dysplasia disease and detailed advice on preventive measures and their implementation – especially HPV vaccination – are also part of the spectrum of the dysplasia consultation.
We also offer regular training courses for doctors on the subject of dysplasia diseases and the opportunity to observe.
The most important services offered by our dysplasia consultation include
- Colposcopy, biopsy and endocervical curettage
- Biopsies and local excisions for abnormal findings in the vagina or in the area of the external genitalia
- CO2 laser treatment of condylomas, precancerous lesions on the external genitalia (also vaginal, depending on location and extent)
- LEEP conization and endocervical curettage under local anesthesia for precancerous lesions
- Conservative treatment of condylomas and other benign diseases (e.g. ectopia)
- Care of pregnant patients with precancerous lesions
- Care of patients with an impaired immune system
- Advice on preventive measures, HPV vaccination
