Diagnosis or suspected diagnosis of hereditary and congenital (abdominal) anomalies

All rare diseases of the gastrointestinal tract are diagnosed and treated on an interdisciplinary basis.

We treat all rare diseases and congenital malformations of the gastrointestinal tract in an interdisciplinary setting. These include:

  • Esophageal diseases (EA, various forms of achalasia, congenital esophageal stenosis, eosinophilic esophagitis)
  • Intestinal diseases (NEC, Hirschsprung’s disease, intestinal atresia)
  • Chronic intestinal failure (all forms of congenital enteropathies, surgical short bowel syndrome and PIPO)
  • Gastrointestinal diseases (polyposis syndromes and monogenetic or very-early onset IBD)
  • Diaphragmatic malformations and intestinal wall defects (gastroschisis, omphalocele)
  • Patients with autoimmune, syndromic or hereditary pancreatitis are also treated
