Endometriosis Nurse Consultation

We offer you holistic support and advice, from diagnosis and treatment to aftercare and beyond.

We will be happy to contact you by telephone for an initial consultation so that we can get to know you before the medical consultation. If an operation is necessary, we will visit you on the ward to clarify any unanswered questions with you. After the operation, we will contact you by telephone to find out how you are doing and whether you need further support or advice.

The services of the Endometriosis Nurse

Endometriosis can be stressful and severely restrict everyday life. We can advise you on the following topics in our care consultation:

• Pain and dealing with chronic illness
• Exhaustion or depressive mood
• Diet, exercise and lifestyle modification
• Behavior during surgery and drug therapy
• Dealing with family, relationships, employer
• Fertility, sexuality and partnership
• Complementary medical approaches

All these issues can cause great uncertainty. We would like to accompany you on the way to an improved quality of life and support you in dealing with your illness.

The care consultation is a supplement to the medical endometriosis consultation. We are in close contact with the medical team at the Clinic for Gynecology and are part of your interprofessional treatment team.
