Department of Traumatology certification
The Department of Traumatology holds certification for the Trauma Network and the Centre for Geriatric Traumatology in conjunction with the Department of Geriatric Medicine. The Centre for Geriatric Traumatology is certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2008. The “Polytrauma Course Beyond ATLS”, which takes place several times a year, has been re-certified/certified together with the “Polytrauma Course – the Zurich Paradigm”.
The Department of Traumatology (Trauma and orthopedic trauma surgery) is also an advanced training institute certified by SIWF FMH (Swiss Institute for Postgraduate and Further Education in Medicine).
