Department of Immunology
The Department of Immunology of the University Hospital Zurich (USZ) and the University of Zurich (UZH) is an academic competence center with diverse experts in clinical immunology and allergology.
The focus is on the diagnosis and care of patients with:
- Immunodeficiencies
- Autoimmunity
- Use of biologics
Five diagnostic laboratories in the areas of transplant immunology, autoimmune diseases, cell diagnostics, allergology, immunodeficiency, and HIV and hepatitis are part of the clinic. The Department of Immunology focuses on the promotion and training of physicians, scientists and academics in transnational and human immunology research.
The laboratory of the Department of Immunology is accredited according to the ISO 15189:2012 standard.
