Annual reports (in German)
The USZ documents the development of its business in the annual report. In addition, the USZ publishes a comprehensive quality report every year with facts and figures on the quality of the medical services provided and the efforts for continuous improvement, as well as a Diversity & Inclusion Report with the latest information on equal opportunities.
2023 was a challenging year for the USZ. The effects of the pandemic slowly subsided, but the shortage of skilled workers continued to worsen. Thanks to numerous measures and strict cost discipline, it was possible to prevent a deterioration in the operating result compared to the previous year.

In order to make the USZ quality report more comparable with other hospitals, it will now be prepared according to the template of “H+ Die Spitäler der Schweiz” and published on the hospital portal spitalinfo.ch.
