In the laboratory for special analysis and molecular diagnostics, we use a variety of different analysis methods to examine hormones, metabolic parameters, vitamins and trace elements, tumor markers, urine proteins and sediments, among other things. We use molecular biological methods to search for mutations that are associated with certain diseases (e.g. haemochromatosis) or influence the efficacy or tolerability of certain drugs(pharmacogenetics).
