Tumors of the nose, paranasal sinuses, anterior skull base and orbit

Benign and malignant neoplasms (skin cancer) in the area of the head and facial skin, together with tumors of the nose and paranasal sinuses as well as the adjacent skull base and orbit, are also a focus of rhinology and rhinosurgery.

With the involvement of an experienced team and interdisciplinary cooperation (tumor boards), even extensive findings are treated. Diseases affecting the brain are cared for and treated on an interdisciplinary basis together with our colleagues in neurosurgery. This also includes the use of state-of-the-art technologies that are unique in Switzerland and Europe, such as intraoperative MRI. A special rhino-oncology consultation is available for patients with such diseases.
