A multi-center, prospective clinical trial to evaluate MammoWave® microwave imaging in a general population breast cancer screening program to make breast cancer screening more accurate, comprehensive and women-friendly
Aim of the study
By taking part, you are contributing to the development of a pioneering technology that could revolutionize breast cancer screening. MammoWave is not only radiation-free, but also pain-free and suitable for women of all ages. They can help to improve the early detection of breast cancer and make future examinations more comfortable for women worldwide.
Who can take part?
We invite women aged 45 to 74 who are asymptomatic and have had a mammogram or breast CT in the last month. The prerequisite is an average risk of breast cancer, and participation is voluntary
Procedure
MammoWave uses very weak microwave radiation (100 times less than a cell phone) to visualize differences in tissue properties between healthy and diseased breast tissue. These differences lead to clear contrasts in the generated images, which help doctors to recognize suspicious changes at an early stage.
The time required will be around 20 minutes.
Compensation
By participating in this study and providing your time and data, you are making a valuable contribution to the development of a radiation-free examination method that helps to reliably rule out breast tumors.
