The survey conducted at the end of 2023 met with great interest among referring physicians. Medical Director Malcolm Kohler explains the most important findings.
What are the positive findings from the survey for you?
The survey showed that referring physicians ascribe a very high level of medical competence to the USZ and are satisfied with the medical treatment they receive. The wide range of training courses and the opportunity to present patients to our boards are also highly appreciated.
Where do you see potential for improvement?
For procedural aspects, such as quick receipt of reports and accessibility, the ratings were lower in some clinics. This is one of the areas where we see a need for action. The evaluated clinics and institutes of the USZ were informed of the results and will make improvements based on the individual feedback.
What specific steps are you taking at USZ level to optimize collaboration with referring physicians?
We will pay particular attention to the writing of reports and strive for faster delivery. In addition, the referring physician area of the USZ website has been made clearer for better communication. We have also created a new central point of contact for referring physicians for general matters relating to collaboration with the USZ.
