This is what your typical day in the department looks like.
Your nurse will greet you in the morning and discuss the daily routine with you. We encourage you to address your health concerns or uncertainties.
Breakfast is served between 7.15 am and 9.00 am. Take this opportunity to let us know your menu preferences for the coming day. You will find the current menu selection in your room. If you require a special nutritional program or have questions about nutrition in connection with your illness, please speak to your nurse.
Medical rounds take place in the morning. Your nurse will inform you of the exact time. We encourage you to actively participate and contribute your questions and concerns. If necessary, your doctor will ensure that you receive speech therapy, physiotherapy or occupational therapy. Your nurse will inform you about upcoming examinations and therapy appointments.
Lunch is served between 11.30 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. If you would like something to eat or drink outside meal times, please contact the staff at the patient hotel.
Your relatives, friends and acquaintances are very welcome from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. We are also happy to welcome you and your guests in the Bistros NORD or SUED. Snacks, newspapers, stationery, stamps, personal care products and gifts are available from our Bistro NORD and “Coffee & more”.
We serve dinner between 5.30 and 6.30 pm.
The night’s rest begins at 10.00 pm. We ask you to stay in your department from this time onwards. In multi-bed rooms, out of consideration for your neighbors, you can only receive calls on the patient telephone until 10.00 pm. The hospital exits close at 10.00 pm.
