Career
Dr. Rüegger is a specialist in pediatrics and adolescent medicine (especially neonatology) and completed his training in Zurich and Melbourne, Australia. His research focuses on the primary care of extremely premature infants in the delivery room and on ventilation strategies in the neonatal intensive care unit. He is involved in the design and conduct of randomized clinical trials to improve treatment outcomes for newborns.
