Research focus

Thoracic radiology

  • Characterization of early stages of pulmonary fibrosis using texture analysis and innovative methods of quantification with regard to prognosis and progression
  • Assessment of lung tumors, in particular malignant pleural mesothelioma with regard to staging, therapy monitoring and prognosis of the outcome of medical or surgical therapies
  • Value of artificial intelligence for the delineation of pathologies on the conventional chest X-ray.
